Meet Jacques & Adam

Jacques Spitzer

Jacques Spitzer is the CEO and Founder of Raindrop. He is also an Emmy Award winning creative, investor, author and speaker that has been on stage at conferences such as Ecom World and Ad World.

Adam Wagner

Adam Wagner is the co-owner and COO of Raindrop as well as an investor and strategic advisor to some of the fastest growing DtC brands in the world.

Our story

Raindrop was founded by Jacques Spitzer with a simple vision:

deliver amazing work and treat everyone with the respect and care you would have for your best friend.

Three years later, having assembled a core team of Raindroppers and in search of some support from a marketing-savvy partner for one of his projects, Jacques called up his college acquaintance Adam, who soon joined him as a co-founder. Together, they began to grow Raindrop and earn a reputation for scroll-stopping creative and connection-first marketing that people love.

The Raindrop early years were full of learning lessons, incredible partnerships, great work and most of all friendship. Having its roots in San Diego, Raindrop was able to build relationships and partner with many amazing brands and people in the Hospitality, Tourism, Non-Profit and Lifestyle industries.

The San Diego Symphony and Sammy’s Pizza were two early pivotal moments for Raindrop as new clients and accounts that began to shape a trajectory for the company. A few years later, Raindrop began its work with Dr. Squatch, which has gone on to become one of the most successful partnerships and creative work in the history of the internet!

Friendship, generous partnership and a people-first mentality remain at the core of Raindrop’s DNA.

Three years after starting Raindrop, Jacques had built the foundations of Raindrop and assembled a core team of Raindroppers.

At this point, Jacques and Adam Wagner reconnected over what would become a lunch that would change both of their lives. The two had met during college, at UCSD, through Jacques’ brother Blake. Adam had gotten into marketing after school and was in the early stages of discovering what entrepreneurship was like and wanting to one day build something too.

A few weeks later, Jacques called Adam with an initial project that ended up going really well for all involved and led to the beginning of the partnership that exists today.

Today, Jacques and Adam are best friends, business partners and entrepreneurs with a passion for people-first companies and marketing.

Raindrop has also been incredibly blessed and fortunate to have had some amazing leaders join the team throughout the years including Carrie Jones, Tom O’Hara, Danny Kim, Andrea Pundeff, Donovan Moore, Jeff Youngren and Nicole Bushnell. This journey would not be possible without them and they are helping to shape the future of Raindrop.

As Raindrop has grown, we have also realized that it’s time to speak clarity and vision into the endeavors that have gotten us to where we are today and to provide a structure for Raindrop moving forward.

This is where Raindrop Brands comes in.

Raindrop Brands is a collective of like-minded companies and people that have grown out of or are connected to Raindrop, Jacques and Adam.

This is just the beginning.

We are so excited for the future and continued growth of the entire Raindrop Brands family of companies.

We are beyond thankful for all of the amazing people that we get to do life with and call friends.
